About Me

Erica S. Van Ross, APR 

With two decades of experience in communications and journalism, I’m an accredited public relations strategist whose career has encompassed what feels like every scenario imaginable.

Communications at Fortune 50 public companies and at private, family-owned companies too? Done that.

Government? Financial Services? Tech? Retail? Yes to all!

Crisis? I was the head of communications for a major metropolitan police department, so, definitely.

Communications organizational design? Yes, I’ve built entire communications functions from the ground up.

Media relations? Of course. In addition to working with the media frequently as a communications and public relations professional, I spent the first five years of my career as a journalist.
